Annual consumer inflation decelerated to a fresh four-year low of 3.9% y/y in February 2015, from 4.4% y/y in January 2015. The decrease was mainly driven by falling transport prices while food costs slowed. The petrol price declined 26.7% y/y in February. Meanwhile monthly inflation rose to a seven-month high of 0.6% in February. The miscellaneous goods and services category was the biggest contributor (0.8%) to the monthly figure.
